That's the content of the email, what I'd like to ask all of you is....who decides if you've given your all?
Our hubbies/wives/kids/parents/boss? Whose opinion matters most?

Sometimes when I'm faced with a difficult colleague, I always ask myself...hey, dia ni tak sedar ke the kind of problems that he/she is putting me through? You know what, maybe they really tak sedar because as far as they are concerned, they have given their all, they believe that they have given 101%. So siapa yang bodoh, mereka dan keluarga mereka (famous line from Ringgit Kasorga) or me?

Every opinion matter at one point or another, my dear...

Sometimes some people think theirs matter more. Rightly or wrongly, we can never know eh?

I was asked in an interview once "How many percent of your time do you give to your administrative and academic duties?" My answer "100% to my academic duties and 100% to my administrative duties".

My ex-boss Tan Sri Salleh replied "You can't count Dr. Yang".

Btw, it was during my professorship interview.

Actually Kakak that is true..if you've given it your all while you were doing it, if your point of reference is time. There will always be only 24 hours in a day, 60 minutes in an hour. So if you've focused on something for an hour, you've given it 100%...of that hour.
Next time someone asks me that, my reply would be "Is this a trick question?"
